Teresa is a Cosmetic Physician with her own clinic in Auckland called FaceWorks .Teresa has been a member of the Allergan Advisory Board for over 10 years as a trainer in Botox since 2000 and Juvederm since 2007.Teresa provides physician training throughout NZ, Australia and Japan. Teresa has had a number of papers published on both cosmetic techniques and therapeutic Botox, as well as developing her own skincare range, also called FaceWorks.
Dr Geoff Olsen - NZCAM Conference
Founder of Fraser Clinic, Dr Geoff Olsen is a respected name within the Medical profession. Dr Olsen has been a General Practitioner in Tauranga for 20 years and has gone on to train as a Cosmetic Physician and Phlebologist specialising in non-surgical vein treatments.
Dr Olsen has significant post graduate General Anaesthetic experience in addition to ten years experience in cosmetic medicine. He has wide experience in safe and effective use of Botox, Dermal Fillers, and minor surgical techniques. As a Phlebologist, Geoff incorporates the use of Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy, Endovenous Laser and Microsclertherapy for treatments of veins. He has wide experience of light based therapies including IPL - Intense Pulsed Light with the Photoderm and Quantum and most recently with Active FX, CO2 laser fractional facial skin resurfacing.

Dr Hans Raetz - NZCAM Censor
Hans graduated from Essen Medical School in Germany in 1991 and commenced surgical training in traumatology. After moving to Great Britain in 1995 he continued his surgical training in the North-East Surgical Rotation and, following his qualification as MRCGP in 1998 the family moved again, this time to Queenstown, New Zealand.
He then worked as a GP at Queenstown Medical Centre and was awarded fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2005.
After taking an interest in Appearance Medicine and setting up Central Otago’s only Cosmetic Medicine Clinic he gained Fellowship of the New Zealand College of Appearance Medicine in 2008. In 2006 he established Phlebology services in Queenstown and is now involved in the non-surgical treatment of Varicose Veins for Skin Institute. His strong interest in surgery has led to Skin Institute Queenstown becoming the multidisciplinary centre for Skin Cancer and Phlebology services in Central Otago.
Hans has always been pushing for new services and facilities in his community. After commissioning an Urgent Doctor Centre in Sunderland, England he managed the planning and construction phase for Queenstown Medical Centre in 2001 followed by the QMC Remarkables Park branch in 2005.
Since 2000 he has been a Senior Lecturer with Otago University and has been involved in the professional development of the New Zealand Royal College of GPs and the NZ College of Appearance Medicine on Council. Both Suzy and his children hope that he will run out of puff- eventually.
Dr Joanna Romanowska - NZCAM Education Officer
Dr Joanna Romanowska graduated in 1990 with a medical degree from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Following this she completed an internship at Edendale, a large teaching hospital in Pietermaritzburg, before working as a GP in a hospital in Northern Ireland and then as the sole practitioner in a remote rural town in Canada.
Joanna settled in New Zealand in 1993, establishing herself as a partner at South Auckland’s Mangare Family Doctors. Joanna has continued to work at the general practice where she has now taken up the role of Director.
Joanna began practising appearance medicine in 1998 and made the leap to open her own business in 2001. Joanna says working at both Clinic 42 and a South Auckland practice gives her a unique working balance. “Appearance medicine in Epsom and general practice in Mangere are obviously poles apart, but I value the perspective that this allows. Working in two such different but equally challenging environments ensures that my professional focus is constantly refined”.
Joanna is a Fellow of the New Zealand College of Apperance Medicine and has practised Appearance Medicine since 1998, improving aging skin appearance by treating facial contours, fine lines and wrinkles, utilising Botox and various Dermal Fillers. Joanna is also affiliated with Southern Cross for the treatment of Varicose Veins which is treated with sclerotherapy under ultrasound guidance. Dr Joanna is also the first and only female doctor in New Zealand to be trained in injectable fillers for Breast Augmentation.
Dr Lynn Theron- NZCAM Education Officer
Lynn has practiced appearance medicine since 1998. As a fellow of the Appearance Medicine Society of Australasia she keeps abreast of the latest techniques and developments by attending conferences and meeting with international experts. Lynn works as a specialist consultant in Emergency Medicine at Auckland Hospital
She came to New Zealand in 1997 when she entered the Emergency Medicine Training Programme. This involved her working extensively at Middlemore and Auckland Hospitals emergency departments, intensive care department and alongside the Westpac Emergency Helicopter Service and Childflight, the medical evacuation service.
Prior to this Lynn was a GP for two years in rural Canada. There she worked as the sole medical practitioner, and chief of staff of a 22-bed rural hospital, in a remote region with a large catchment area.
In 1989 after six years of training, Lynn received her medical qualifications from Grooteschuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa (site of the original heart transplant operation performed by Dr Christian Barnard). Lynn has also completed a further five years of vocational training in New Zealand to become a specialist consultant in emergency medicine and is a Fellow of the Emergency Medicine College of Australasia.

DR. Garsing WONG, Born 1965 in Auckland, graduated from the University of Auckland with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery 1991. Worked in Worthing, Southlands, Orpington and Medway Hospital in England, United Kingdom. General Surgery and General Medicine in Regionalspital Thun, Switzerland. Medical Director of West Auckland White Cross Accident and Medical Clinic, Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand.

Dr Garsing Wong gives international talks and workshops to specialist around the world. Dr Garsing Wong has pioneered non-surgical facial slimming and facial shaping injecting Botox and Lipodissolve (Phosphadityl choline) into the masseter muscle in New Zealand and he has given lectures on his unique technique of combining Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) with Lipolysis to cosmetic doctors world wide in France, Switzerland and Taiwan. Dr Garsing Wong is also offering patients nonsurgical breast enhancements or enlargements using clinically proven hyaluronic acid fillers.
Dr Garsing Wong presented his work on the latest fractional erbium:glass laser and IPL to dermatologist and plastic surgeons at the 6th Anti-Aging Symposium hosted by the Chinese Dermatological Society, Taipei and Plastic Surgical Association Republic of China, Taiwan Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Chinese Society of Cosmetic Surgery and Anti-aging Medicine. Over 400 doctors attended the meeting to discuss aesthetic laser treatments including skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, laser, intense pulse light devices, specific applications including acne treatment, scar removal, vascular lesions and body contouring.
Dr Garsing Wong has held workshops on his technique of combining Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) with Lipolysis for nonsurgical facial shaping to Cosmetic Physicians, Cosmetic Surgeons, Botox Specialist, Dermatologist and Plastic Surgeons in Paris, IMCAS January 2008. Dr Garsing Wong has been invited to give talks and workshops on his pioneering Botox (Botulinum Toxin) methods for treating Migraine and combining Botox with Phosphaditylcholine (Lipodissolve or Lipolysis) for nonsurgical facial shaping in Switzerland in September 2007 to specialist doctors including Ear, Nose and Throat surgeons, plastic surgeons, neurologist, immunologist and aesthetic dentist.
Dr Garsing Wong is the first and only doctor in New Zealand who offers nonsurgical calfshaping and calf thinning procedure.
