Classes of Membership
Fellows of NZCAM
Fellows hold an NZCAM Diploma in Appearance Medicine, and alone can vote at Special and General Meetings of NZCAM. All members must attend the annual scientific meeting of NZCAM on a regular basis, and to meet MOPS requirements may be requested to provide proof of attendance. Attendance at similar meetings offshore may be regarded as suitable ongoing educational activity. Advanced training is available towards procedure specific registers.
Trainee Members of NZCAM
Members may be accepted for training towards the Diploma in Appearance Medicine on application. They must select a minimum of 3 modalities and will be examined against the competency standards provided in all modalities chosen, and need to have a working knowledge of the other listed modalities. Trainees need to be financial members of NZCAM, fund a Training Levy for two years and are provided with a mentor for direction. They cannot advertise in any form their association with NZCAM untill elected to Fellowship.
Honorary Members
Honorary Membership is reserved for persons who have made an outstanding contribution to the above "skills" and the committee may nominate a maximum of one such member annually. These members will not be required to pay any subscriptions to NZCAM, or practice audit fees of NZCAM.
Fellows are listed on the College website for public information.
